This is a post to celebrate over $200 in quarterly sales of Book 1 of The Universe Inside Her, Publishers being mostly paid off, Book 2 being just about done in editing (finally, I know), and Kanda Land having just under half of the content I hope to publish it with.
I’ve got over 100 pages of Kanda Land written (Part 16 is going to be exciting), which is really only 2/3rds of a half–Okay, I’ll just say one third–of what I’m looking for (300), but you know what? We are getting there and I’m stoked, and I’m also proud of how far this story and adventure has come, and I am most definitely not done with it yet. I’ve got so many more ideas for this book, so it will not be a dying project!
I still apologize for not continuing or finishing “Daisy May”, this story still has a place in my heart. I love this narrative and I loved writing it, but I lost a lot of the original direction of the book. The voice the story carried was a lot of my young teenage self’s voice and has a lot of that time wrapped in it which has been harder to embody as time goes on. There is a chance I might pick the adventure back up, I’d like to see the ending I had planned come to finish, but for now, “Daisy May” awaits its next chapter. ❤
“The Eternal I” has not progressed much since its last update. I have encountered some writers block and loss of inspiration concerning continuing the flames’ journey.
As I have been pouring a lot of time and ideas into Kanda Land, all these other adventures have taken a pause, but with good return to show for it! Have no fear, I do not see “The Eternal I” ending here. Kez and Amalei will return again 🙂
