Hint ‘ums Vol. 2

Volume 2 is ready to play!
Try your hand at the level and come back and comment if you are stumped, or check out the hints here:
Good luck!

Hi all! I’m back again with another puzzle! Today’s theme is food. Are you getting hungry yet? That’s alright, you will when you begin 😉

Just like yesterday, I’ve prepared a few hints for you to use as you solve today’s puzzle. Shall we delve in?

Great!

The first stump you might encounter is word number two “round bakery item.” Think savory, rather than sweet. Just think for a minute. Come back to it if you have to. And, in the end, you can always use an extra cheat:

Think about if a donut weren’t sweet. …Yes!

The second instance in which you may find yourself scratching your head is that King Tut clue. “Weren’t canned in king Tut’s time, and probably weren’t this color.” Think of a staple food he was buried with. Now put a color in front of it. No, come on, now; you’ll figure it out 😉

A bonus hint for you, concerning that “gastropod” question. Do you know what it is? …

Fancily prepared snail…. Not something I’d want on my plate though 😝

As always, here’s Volume 2! Remember to submit your puzzle!

Thanks so much for tuning in to today’s challenge, and I’ll see you tomorrow with another one!

A.M.M.

Remember, you can always submit your puzzle early by clicking the paper airplane icon. Good luck!
