–Poppintalk

I know, we skipped a few, went back, and then never finished catching up! So, here I am catching you up on your daily hint’ums.

First, of course, here is the link to the puzzle, which will open in a separate tab so you can toggle back and forth between the hints page and your game. Today, we have 11 words to solve and find!

Try your hand at the puzzle and come back here if you need to!

Next, please keep your shears closed and don’t run with them or chase your brother with them. Okay, let’s begin!

Question number 1. “Dotting the earth with beauty and fragrance.”
They are colorful and delicate and make for a pretty field to dance in. Some people make bracelets with them.

2. “When you merge one plant with another.”
It’s a process called ______ when a stem, such as with an apple tree branch or olive branch is snipped at one end and taped or wrapped onto a tree with a cut portion for them to connect. The gentiles were _____ed in when they were adopted via the redemption from the jews.

3. “It grows everywhere except the desert, really.”
I mean, it’s green and bladey. Idk what else to tell you ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

4. “It is wonderful to see all the beautiful _________ where plants flourish.”
This one’s tough, I’ll give you that. It’s a color. “Wow, look at all this _________!”

5. “Keeps the lawn trimmed.”
There’s push and self-propelled kinds.

6. “Cutting away the dead parts of the plant so it can flourish and nourish new buds.”
It sounds like a fruit elder people commonly eat. As an extra hint, it is backwards in the puzzle.

7. “It is fun to see all the ______ that some bushes are grown into, guided by metal structures.”
You know those elephant “topiary” figures that are on fancy landscaped lawns? There are other ______ that they grow and cut bushes to look like.
Extra hint (Highlight below):

(Extra hintWh at are stars, squares and circles called?)

8. “Small trees often grow with _____ beams/sticks, to help them grow straight and not be uprooted in heavy winds.”
Sometimes, we all need a _____ system to lean on when we’re going through tough times.

9. “Sometimes, when the tree starts poking the neighbor’s window, it is time for a _____.”
Same word we interchange for ‘haircut’.

10. “A plant that grows upward, or along any fence or trellis or wall, even.”
Come on, now, I think you know this one. It is common-place associated with grapes.

11. “When you don’t want your plants choked, you pull out your ____ ________ to cut back all the choking plants.”
Think of what those choking plants are and then what do you use to whack them down? You’ll get it, I know you will ๐Ÿ™‚

Look at all the neat things you collected! Good work ๐Ÿ™‚

And that’s a wrap! Thank you for following along and enjoying the puzzles! I hope to be back soon with another guide and I hope the sun smiles on you today and that the flowers bloom beautifully.

Much love!
