I can’t help sharing these little golden nuggets with y’all.

Don’t worry, I’m not ruining the plot for you 🤪 All I give you guys is out of context little tidbits. So enjoy without risk!

And keep looking forward to Kanda Land published. So excited for when I can finally share it with y’all–the whooole story!!

For now, here’s another little sneak peek:

A Night With The Devil

Lina grimaced. “E, babe, you can’t run from good things and expect to find good things.”

E shook her head. “Nevermind. I just can’t care anymore, Lina. About anything. About love, about being treated well. I’m used to this. I’m used to being just… me. Alone. Left out. Unloved. Temporary and forgotten in everyone’s life. At this point, I can’t not survive. I have to be surviving to know I’m even alive.”

Lina raised her eyebrows and nodded for a moment. But after a silence she said, “Don’t live that way.” And shook her head. “Don’t turn into me. Look, I’ve got nearly five years on you, and you’re still nowhere near as damaged as me. Keep it that way. Don’t get to my age and be fucked up like I am. Diverge from the abyss. Or you’ll fall into this,” She gestured to herself and her surroundings, “like me.”

She continued, “I mean, just look at this. You’re already back to it, E. A night with the devil and you’re already in hell. That’s all it takes, E. You need to go back. Go away from here. Don’t keep running away from good things. Do the hard thing while you can. I’m sorry I brought you back into it. That was my mistake.”
