The Ratchet House Series

I last worked on this series back in August of 2020, and the finish of this exact storyline may never see the light of day–and I’m just as sad as you are about that. It is a masterpiece (with a few typos šŸ˜…)
I really wish there was more to this story. Who knows, maybe I’ll write a similar version and the Ratchet House Series can live on 😊
This was my next “big idea” series that I planned on making huge; I could see it being a popular and possibly best-selling series, but I suppose time got away…
Nonetheless, enjoy this first teasing bit of it.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed rediscovering it šŸ™‚

I’m Sorry I Didn’t Meet You

And it kills me to remember you shaking your head, after you came to me in tears, and walking out that door to never come knocking again.

I still want to grow old with you if you’ll let me. If you’ll help me rebuild these broken pieces of this once-most-beautiful home.

Imaginary

Wish your love had been honest from the start. I wish the ā€œI love youā€ dripping off your tongue hadn’t been a lie.

The Enemy of My Lover

…But something inside me had broken, and broken my sensibility, too. I wanted to fix this connection that she grew in me, I wanted to make it all right so I could love again. But I only made a bigger mess, and a bigger and bigger and bigger one yet until we both were chin-deep in messiness.
