Part 30 (-ish?) E and V both discover a few things that could make them think drastically different about each other, and E does some pondering on it.

With E on the run again, she meets herself in an unexpected place. And V settles down for the night miles and miles away, yearning to restore their once-alive connection.
Distrust has wedged herself again between these two tortured souls. Neither knows how to fix or approach the other and this disconnect–this silence–may be deafening for a while.
The new hope that arose in E’s spirit is quickly evaporated when her jailed ex finds a way to get in touch with her, and V is long gone from the hotel.
Well, here we pick up where we left off. It’s the afternoon of the day that E finally decided to visit the blue house; and V gets curious about S’s arrest.
I think the whole earth adores her, and I think I am blessed to be a gift God placed here for her.
