Almost Home

Expectantly keep your eyes on that horizon every day.
Miracles are simply unexpected, not impossible.
HOPE 💙

Yesterday, I was driving home from my Easter trip and a song came over the radio. One that I loved, and it’s called, “Almost Home,” by Mercy Me.

Y’all, Jesus came and became the ultimate sacrifice, but now he is coming again soon!

Don’t lose hope.
Don’t stop looking in the clouds for your Lord.
Don’t stop believing.

He is coming soon. Keep trekking. It’s a long hike, but it will be worth the view.

And for those of you who are looking toward the road, but have been walking away for so long: You are not too far gone. I think you will actually realize that, because of Jesus sacrifice, the gate is actually only a step away. Jesus is always calling out to you. God has never given up on you; even if you’ve given up on yourself; even if your friends, your family, your spouse, anyone has given up on you, he hasn’t. No matter how you feel, he hasn’t given up on you.

The cool thing about God is that his truth is not dependent on our feelings. Which means that even if we feel like we are too far gone, or it’s beyond repair or redemption, …that doesn’t change the fact that Jesus is only a whisper away, and God is still capable of everything.

Along with “Almost Home,” I recommend listening to:
“Say I Won’t,” by Mercy Me

And as a little prayer for you, I’m singing “In Jesus Name” by Katy Nichole over you.

Remember, just because the answer hasn’t arrived yet doesn’t mean it isn’t there. The ship may be far out, but that doesn’t mean it’s not on it’s way; the sea is very long. Don’t give up waiting at the shore 💙 Keep watch on the horizon every day.

Much hope to you 💙
